Course title:            360°/180° Excavator and Mini Digger

Objective: 

To train operators to carry out routine inspections of the excavator. 

To teach the causes of instability and how to avoid them.

To operate the excavator in a safe and correct manner in accordance with current legislation and codes of practice.

• Management of Health and Safety at Work Regulations 1992
• Construction (Design and Management) Regulations 1994
• Construction (Health, Safety and Welfare) Regulations 1996
• Provision and Use of Work Equipment Regulations 1998
• Lifting Operations & Lifting Equipment Regulations 1998
• ACoP (Approved Code of Practice)
• Personal Protective Equipment
• Operational Safety Techniques
• Theory Assessment
• Practical Assessment

Target Group:

This course covers theory and practical skills and is aimed at all

general work environments we run courses for both novice and

experienced operators during the working week or weekends

to suit.

Requirements:                   None – good physical and mental health

Duration:                            3 to 5 DAYS depending on prior experiance

Course Size:                      This course is run with a maximum class size of 3

Location:                            On-site at customer premises subject to availability

                                           of adequate facilities

Certificated Course:

An ITSSAR accredited Certificate of Achievement for each operator will be issued upon successful completion of both the Theoretical knowledge and Practical exams.

To teach the causes of truck and load instability and how to avoid them.

To operate the site dumper truck in a safe and correct manner in accordance with current legislation and codes of practice.
