Objective: To train candidates to operate a lift truck in a safe manner, in accordanc with current legislation and codes of practice. To be able to carry out routine inspections of a lift truck.

Basic Manoeuvring: Starting, Stopping, Steering, Simple Corners

Handling laden & unladen pallets, Weight Assessment

Practical Assessment
Lift Truck Training
Target Group: Novice Operator, operators with little or no experience
Experienced Operator uncertified/Conversion, operators who operate on a regular basis but are uncertified or with an ‘in-house’ license, or converting from an alternative truck
Refresher Training, generally accepted as an industry requirement after 3-5 years of certified operating aimed at preventing, or as a result of an unsafe operation
Requirements: None – good physical and mental health
Course Size: Maximum ratio 3 candidates, 1 instructor, 1 truck
Location: On-site at customer premises subject to availability of suitable facilities
Certificated Course:
An ITSSAR accredited Certificate will be issued upon successful completion of both the Theoretical Knowledge and Practical exams.
